About
ME. My name is Bartek Drozdz, Interactive Designer/Developer. I am originary from Warsaw, Poland. Currently, I live and work in Stockholm. I am 31.
EXPERIENCE. My first contact with Flash dates back in the year 2000. Later I left Actionscript, and had taken some detours on my way, mainly Java programing and HTML development. In 2004, I got back to Flash. I worked a lot on campaings and small animated forms at first - some of them can still be seen here. Later, I moved towards more ActionScript.
During this time I worked in several web and advertising agencies, including Leo Burnett and FI (Fantasy-Interactive).
BLOG. I started this blog somewhere in 2007, inspired by FI’s ThinkSwedish. The first few months were rather slow tough, and it really kicked off only in February 2008.
I explore mainly the 3D engines in Flash/AS3 such as Papervision3D, Away3D, and FIVe3D. I also like animation (2D, programatic and timeline alike) and design. You can expect my posts to revolve around those topics most of the time. Lately I got interested by Processing, so maybe in the future I will post stuff about that too.
CONTACT/JOBS. I am open for freelance/consulting jobs. Flash 3D is obviously my preffered area, but design, animation and AS3 programming are stuff I do as well. So I you feel that you need me, just drop an email to ‘bartek [AT] everydayflash [DOT] com’! Don’t be shy :)
